Do the seatbelts have energy management features?
Seatbelts should have a margin of give during severe crashes so that there is not too much pressure exerted across the chest. This prevents damage to important internal organs, including the heart.

Is it equipped with traction control and all-wheel drive?
Traction control systems and all-wheel drive both increase stability and control. Traction control adjusts engine power and braking force, and all-wheel drive evenly distributes power to front and real wheels. Together, these features reduce slipping to keep you safe.

Does the vehicle offer electronic stability control?
During extreme steering maneuvers that may cause spin-outs or other loss of control, electronic stability control automatically applies the brake to a single wheel. This lowers the chance of crashes and rollovers. It’s important to note that different manufacturers may use other names for this feature.

In newer vehicles, many of these components are standard, as they should be. Additionally, Honda and Acura actually provide a lifetime warranty on many of their Seatbelt and Restraint System components.
